Working in rural Australia and in NZ across Canterbury for McCain Foods, he understands the rural sector farming and applies this knowledge to his work.   

Working in the geomembrane/synthetic lining industry he has overseen the synthetic lining of water storage reservoirs, irrigation races, effluent storage, wastewater storage, landfill and many other industries during this time. 

Bens interests outside work include Mountain biking, photography and watching his children’s various sporting pursuits.
